Mr. SCHIFF submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. EVACUATIONS OF UNITED STATES CITIZENS. The Secretary of State, in coordination with relevant Federal departments and agencies, shall-- (1) ensure the availability of evacuation flights for United States citizens in any country subject to an evacuation order issued by the Department of State; and (2) maintain procedures to notify United States citizens of available evacuation options. ______
