Mr. MURPHY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. DOCUMENTARY PROOF OF UNITED STATES CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED TO OBTAIN FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE. Section 923(d)(1) of title 18, United States Code, is amended-- (1) by redesignating subparagraphs (B) through (G) as subparagraphs (C) through (H), respectively; and (2) by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following: ``(B) the applicant presents documentary proof of United States citizenship, as defined in section 3 of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (52 U.S.C. 20502);''. ______
