AMENDMENT 4732 to S. 1383

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 57 (Thursday, March 26, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 57 (Thursday, March 26, 2026)] [Senate] [Page S1665] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] AMENDMENT 4732 to S. 1383 Mr. OSSOFF. Mr. President, I support voter ID. Indeed, the State of Georgia has voter ID. It is only reasonable that eligible voters should prove their identity. I will not support a half-baked partisan ``gotcha'' amendment cooked up with no serious deliberation, no committee hearings, no bipartisan consultation, no input from State and local election officials, where the stakes are potential infringement of the most sacred right at the core of our constitutional Republic. ____________________
