Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 6644, a bill to increase the supply of housing in America, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. GAO STUDY. Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct a study and submit to Congress recommendations on-- (1) the required income calculations and certifications across Federal housing assistance programs and other related social assistance programs; and (2) ways to streamline the process and reduce the burden of those calculations and certifications. ______
