CONGRATULATING SOPHIA ANGELICA

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 55 (Tuesday, March 24, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 55 (Tuesday, March 24, 2026)] [House] [Page H2667] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] CONGRATULATING SOPHIA ANGELICA (Mrs. McIVER asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend her remarks.) Mrs. McIVER. Mr. Speaker, I rise to congratulate Sophia Angelica for her work in empowering children through music, acting, and writing. Sophia, a singer and songwriter from Argentina, uses her talents to advocate for human rights across the globe. She works closely with the United Nations and has traveled internationally to help combat bullying and discrimination. Not only does she travel across the United States for her performances, but she also performed at the sixth Asia-Pacific Human Rights Summit in Taiwan. By combining her vocal talents with her passion for activism, Sophia is making a remarkable impact on children across the world. On behalf of New Jersey's 10th Congressional District, I congratulate Sophia for her impactful global advocacy. I hope she keeps doing what she is doing. ____________________
