<span>House Science, Space &amp; Technology Committee Advances NASA Reauthorization Act of 2026 to Keep America Leading in Space</span> <span><span>Kaley.Stidham@…</span></span> <span><time datetime="2026-02-05T13:03:12-05:00" title="Thursday, February 5, 2026 - 13:03">Thu, 02/05/2026 - 13:03</time> </span> <div class="evo-press-release__body"><p class="text-align-justify"><span><strong>WASHINGTON, DC</strong> — This week, Congressman Mike Haridopolos (FL-08), Chairman of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee, issued the following statement after the House Science, Space and Technology Committee passed the </span><em><span>NASA Reauthorization Act of 2026</span></em><span>, bipartisan legislation that reinforces America’s leadership in space, drives innovation in aeronautics and space technology, and supports the aerospace workforce building the future of exploration.&nbsp;</span></p><p class="text-align-justify"><em><span>“America cannot be number one on Earth if we are number two in space. Not long ago, we depended on Russia to send our astronauts into orbit. Today, America is leading the world again,”</span></em><span> <strong>said Congressman Haridopolos.&nbsp;</strong>“As Chairman of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee and representative of Florida's Space Coast, I am proud to support the bipartisan NASA Reauthorization Act.
