Mr. LUJAN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: [[Page S1239]] SEC. __. FUNDING FOR HEAD START PROGRAMS, INCLUDING INDIAN HEAD START PROGRAMS. In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Secretary of Health and Human Services for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $14,900,000,000, to remain available until expended, to carry out the Head Start Act (42 U.S.C. 9831 et seq.). ______
