R. 10214 To amend the Public Lands Corps Act of 1993 to modify the cost-sharing requirement for conservation projects carried out by a qualified youth or conservation corps, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES September 1, 2026 Mr. Neguse introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Natural Resources, and in addition to the Committees on Agriculture, and Education and Workforce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To amend the Public Lands Corps Act of 1993 to modify the cost-sharing requirement for conservation projects carried out by a qualified youth or conservation corps, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. COST-SHARING REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSERVATION PROJECTS CARRIED OUT BY A QUALIFIED YOUTH OR CONSERVATION CORPS. Section 212(a)(1) of the Public Lands Corps Act of 1993 (16 U.S.C. 1729(a)(1)) is amended-- (1) in the first sentence, by striking ``75'' and inserting ``90''; and (2) in the second sentence, by striking ``25'' and inserting ``10''. <all>
