tariffs, duties, or other fees with respect to beef and beef products

Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committee on
Agriculture, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker,
in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the
jurisdiction of the committee concerned

A BILL
To nullify the Presidential proclamation relating to Further Ensuring
Affordable Beef for the American Consumer and prohibit the reduction of
tariffs, duties, or other fees with respect to beef and beef products
imported into the United States.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Protecting American Beef Producers
Act''.
SEC. 2. NULLIFICATION OF PRESIDENTIAL PROCLAMATION RELATING TO FURTHER
ENSURING AFFORDABLE BEEF FOR THE AMERICAN CONSUMER.
Presidential proclamation 11059 of August 26, 2026, titled
``Further Ensuring Affordable Beef for the American consumer'' (91 Fed.
Reg. 55989), shall have no force or effect and no Federal funds may be
obligated or expended to carry out such Presidential proclamation.
SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON REDUCTION OF TARIFFS, DUTIES, OR OTHER FEES WITH
RESPECT TO BEEF AND BEEF PRODUCT IMPORTS.
The President, or any other official, may not waive, suspend, or
otherwise reduce a tariff, duty, or other fee on beef or beef products,
imported into the United States unless Congress enacts such a waiver,
suspension, or reduction, into law or declares a state of emergency
with respect to the American domestic beef supply.
