R. 1982 To repeal and rescind any unobligated balances under sections 70002 and 70003 of the Inflation Reduction Act, and for other purposes. _______________________________________________________________________ IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES March 10, 2025 Mr. Cloud (for himself and Ms. Greene of Georgia) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform _______________________________________________________________________ A BILL To repeal and rescind any unobligated balances under sections 70002 and 70003 of the Inflation Reduction Act, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Return to Sender Act''. SEC. 2. REPEAL AND RESCISSION OF FUNDS. The unobligated balances of amounts appropriated or otherwise made available by sections 70002 and 70003 of Public Law 117-169 (commonly referred to as the ``Inflation Reduction Act''), as of the date of enactment of this Act are rescinded and those sections are hereby repealed. <all>
