Plain-English Summary
This bill would improve access to foot care services for people with diabetes by updating how Medicare and other health insurance programs cover preventive foot exams and treatments. People with diabetes often develop serious foot complications that can lead to amputation, so the bill aims to make it easier and more affordable for them to get regular foot care from specialists. The changes would affect both patients seeking care and healthcare providers who treat diabetic foot problems.
