Plain-English Summary

This bill would create a dedicated fund to help the Secret Service pay for unexpected expenses and emergency operations, similar to how other federal agencies maintain financial reserves for urgent needs. The fund would allow the Secret Service to respond more quickly to security threats, investigations, and other critical situations without having to wait for Congress to approve additional spending each time. This affects taxpayers who fund the agency and the public who rely on the Secret Service for presidential protection and financial crime investigations.
