This bill would update how the Department of Veterans Affairs evaluates and rates service-connected disabilities to determine the benefits veterans receive. The changes aim to make the disability rating system more accurate and fair for veterans seeking compensation for injuries and illnesses related to their military service. Veterans and the VA would be the primary groups affected by these improvements to how disability claims are assessed.
