                                 A BILL

To prohibit funding for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon
beginning on October 1, 2027, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``No U.S. Funding for UNIFIL Act''.

SEC. 2. FINDINGS.

    Congress finds the following:
            (1) On August 28, 2025, the United Nations Security Council
adopted Resolution 2790 (2025), which ``decides to extend for a
final time the mandate of UNIFIL . . . until 31 December
        2026''.
            (2) It is therefore appropriate that United States support
for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon aligns with the
        timeline established in Resolution 2790.

SEC. 3. TERMINATION OF UNITED STATES FUNDING FOR THE UNITED NATIONS
              INTERIM FORCE IN LEBANON.

    (a) Prohibition on Funding.--Beginning on October 1, 2027, no funds
authorized to be appropriated for the Department of State, the
Department of Defense, or any other department of agency of the United
States Government may be made available to support, contribute to, or
otherwise fund the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (in this
section referred to as ``UNIFIL'') or any successor or subsidiary
organization.
    (b) Restriction on Funding.--In the event that the United Nations
extends the mandate for UNIFIL beyond December 31, 2026, the United
States shall withhold an amount equal to UNIFIL's annual budget from
the annual contribution of the United States to the budget of the
United Nations for peacekeeping activities, until the date such mandate
expires.
