Bill Summary

This is a procedural measure that sets the rules for considering four separate bills in the House: one that would eliminate federal energy efficiency standards for buildings, one expressing support for rural communities' role in energy and food production, one that would streamline the Endangered Species Act to make it easier to develop land while incentivizing private conservation efforts, and one that would reduce environmental review requirements for geothermal energy projects. The measure essentially determines how and when these bills will be debated and voted on by the full House.
