Whereas Charleston, South Carolina was scheduled to host the 2027 Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) annual session; Whereas hosting the convention in South Carolina is a tribute to the life and legacy of the late Senator Lindsey Olin Graham; Whereas Charleston is fully equipped to host this event with its world-renowned facilities, including a convention center, hotels, restaurants, catering, interpreters and more that exceed the needs of the convention; Whereas the United States has not held the OSCE PA annual session since 2005 in Washington, DC; and Whereas Serbia has more recently hosted the OSCE PA Belgrade in 2011: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that-- (1) the OSCE PA should allow Charleston to go forward with the 2027 annual session as planned. <all>
