2026 Men's College World Series.

North Carolina Tar Heels in the third of three games in the Men's

for second time in his nine years as Head Coach and was named the 2026
National Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association;

batted in, five doubles, one home run, and scored six runs to win the

College World Series Finals, becoming only the second player to ever do
so in a Men's College World Series Finals game;

starting a freshman at pitcher for each game during the Men's College
World Series Finals: Cord Rager, Xander Mercurius, and Nick Wesloski;
Whereas the unranked Sooners recorded nine wins against nine nationally seeded
teams in the postseason to win the national championship, marking an
NCAA tournament record;
Whereas, since trailing eight to two in the fourth inning at the Atlanta
Regional against the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Sooners
outscored their remaining opponents 90 to 28;
Whereas the Sooners recorded 47 home runs in the final 19 games of the season
after recording 48 home runs in their first 46 games;
Whereas the University of Oklahoma, founded in 1890, is the state's premier
flagship public research university with more than 34,000 students and
20 colleges across its three campuses in Norman, Oklahoma City, and
Tulsa; and

worldwide witnessed one of the most historic triumphs in NCAA baseball
