Plain-English Summary

This bill would require fertilizer manufacturers and sellers to provide clearer information about the contents and safety of their products to farmers and the public. The measure aims to help agricultural workers and consumers better understand what chemicals are in fertilizers and any potential environmental or health risks associated with their use. Farmers and gardeners would benefit from more transparent labeling that makes it easier to compare products and make informed purchasing decisions.
