  To amend title 38, United States Code, to modify the limitation on 
 waiver for pay of critical health care personnel of the Department of 
               Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``VA Salary Cap Waiver Adjustment 
Act''.

SEC. 2. MODIFICATION OF LIMITATION ON WAIVER FOR PAY OF CRITICAL HEALTH 
              CARE PERSONNEL.

    Section 7431(e)(6) of title 38, United States Code, is amended--
            (1) by striking subparagraph (D);
            (2) by redesignating subparagraphs (E), (F), and (G) as 
        subparagraphs (D), (E), and (F), respectively; and
            (3) by amending subparagraph (F), as redesignated by 
        paragraph (2), to read as follows:
    ``(F) The authority of the Secretary under subparagraph (A) shall 
terminate on the date that is five years after the date of the 
enactment of the VA Salary Cap Waiver Adjustment Act.''.
