Resolved, SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON BUYING OR SELLING OF CERTAIN INVESTMENTS BY SENATORS. Rule XXXVII of the Standing Rules of the Senate is amended-- (1) by redesignating paragraph 16 as paragraph 17; and (2) by inserting after paragraph 15 the following: ``16. Effective January 1, 2027, no Senator may buy or sell a publicly traded stock or cryptocurrency.''. <all>
