What Happened
As a result of an April 2026 request by the Committee on Ethics for information about sexual harrassment by legislators, the Committee began an investigation of Rep. Edwards. At the end of July 2026, the Committee voted to adopt the report and recommend a House floor sanction. In August 2026, Edwards ended his re-election campaign and will complete his term in office.
