Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the joint resolution S.J. Res. 98, to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Venezuela that have not been authorized by Congress; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of section 1, add the following: (5) The execution of the arrest warrant against Nicolas Maduro on January 3, 2026, and subsequent efforts to prosecute him, enhance the national security of the United States and advance the legitimate democratic aspirations of the people of Venezuela. ______
