Mr. HEINRICH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. ___. ANTITRUST DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE OFFICE. (a) Offset.--Notwithstanding section 202 of this title, the amount appropriated to the Secretary of Homeland Security under that section shall be $30,875,000,000. [[Page S2591]] (b) Appropriation.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice for fiscal year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $200,000,000, to remain available through September 30, 2029, to combat rising consumer prices stemming from anticompetitive practices. ______
