Mr. HEINRICH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title I, insert the following: SEC. __. APPROPRIATION FOR TRACKING COERCIVE ECONOMIC PRACTICES OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY IN THE UNITED STATES. (a) In General.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency for fiscal year 2026, out of amounts in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $400,000,000 to remain available until September 30, 2029, for the Department of Homeland Security to map, track, and expose propaganda, and coercive economic practices of the Chinese Communist Party in the United States. (b) Reduction in Funds.--Notwithstanding section 102, the amount appropriated under that section shall be $7,050,000,000. ______
