Mr. WARNOCK submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 4784, to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2027 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of subtitle G of title X, add the following: SEC. _____. JUSTICE FOR UNITED STATES VICTIMS OF STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM. Subsection (d)(4)(D)(iv)(IV) of the Justice for United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Act (34 U.S.C. 20144(d)(4)(D)(iv)(IV)) is amended-- (1) by redesignating item (bb) as item (dd); (2) by inserting after item (aa) the following: ``(bb) Iran hostages.--There are authorized to be appropriated and there are appropriated to the Fund such sums as are necessary to make full and complete payments for amounts outstanding and unpaid on claims under subparagraphs (B) and (C) of subsection (c)(2), which shall be paid by the Fund on the claims not later than 30 days after the date of enactment of this item. ``(cc) Limitation.--Amounts appropriated pursuant to item (bb) may not be used for a purpose other than to make payments under this clause.''; (3) in item (cc), as so redesignated, by inserting ``item (bb) or'' before ``subclauses''; and (4) in item (aa), by striking ``disperses'' and inserting ``disburses''. ______
