Pat, Annapolis Pat, Annapolis Sarah Elfreth and her team were able to intercede on my behalf to file a claim with the Social Security office on my deceased husband's Social Security earnings. I had already been trying for months to reach them by phone when the Government shut down, eliminating any chance that I would be able to file my claim. Shortly after contacting Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth, I was called by Social Security, and my claim was quickly processed.
