Ms. CORTEZ MASTO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. 2___. PROHIBITION ON USE FUNDS TO DETAIN OR REMOVE SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. None of the funds made available under this title may be used to detain or remove a victim of domestic violence or a crime victim who has an application for relief pending with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services or on appeal at any stage of the appeal process. ______
