Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries released the following statement: Less than one week after ICE agents fatally shot Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Texas, they brutally killed another unarmed person, a 26-year-old Colombian man, in Maine in cold blood. This pattern of violent immigration enforcement actions shocks the conscience and must immediately come to an end. [ ]
