Hern Announces U.S. Service Academy Nominees for Class of 2030

TULSA, O.K. – Congressman Kevin Hern (OK-01) announced the names of outstanding students from Oklahoma’s First Congressional District who received nominations to the United States Service Academies for the Class of 2030. “These young men and women represent the very best of Oklahoma,” said Rep. Hern. “They have demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and a commitment to service. Earning a nomination to one of our nation’s service academies is a tremendous honor, and I am confident they will serve our country with distinction.” “I congratulate each of these students and their families on this incredible achievement,” Rep. Hern added. “Their willingness to pursue a path of service speaks volumes about their character and dedication to our nation.” Each year, Members of Congress are authorized to nominate a limited number of students to the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Final appointment decisions are made by the academies. The following students from Oklahoma’s First District have been nominated by Rep.
