Mrs. MURRAY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33, setting forth the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2026 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2027 through 2035; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: Strike titles II and III and insert the following: TITLE II--RESERVE FUNDS SEC. 2001. RESERVE FUND FOR REFORMS TO U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT AND U.S. BORDER PATROL. (a) Senate.--The Chairman of the Committee on the Budget of the Senate may revise the allocations of a committee or committees, aggregates, and other appropriate levels in this resolution, including, consistent with section 4101(b)(1), the committee allocations to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate for fiscal year 2026, and make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger for one or more bills or joint resolutions reported by the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate or the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate, amendments, amendments between the Houses, motions, or conference reports relating to funding and accompanying reforms to immigration enforcement activities, which may include reforms to the training, conduct, operations, investigations, and oversight of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Border Patrol, by the amounts of budget authority and resulting outlays provided in such legislation for those purposes in fiscal year 2026.
