Congressman Sessions Votes "YES" on President Trump's "One Big, Beautiful Bill"

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Following an early morning vote, Congressman Sessions released this statement regarding the passage of H.R. 1, One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Congressman Sessions said, "I am proud that we came together as a team to deliver real results for the American people by passing legislation that prevents the return of burdensome Obama-era tax policies and strengthens Medicaid by ensuring it is no longer extended to illegal immigrants. This bill also secures reimbursement for the State of Texas's vital efforts to protect the border through Operation Lone Star , a top priority for the entire Republican Texas Delegation. Texas has been on the front lines of the previous administration's irresponsible open-border policy and has apprehended over 531,700 illegal aliens, at a significant cost to Texas taxpayers. I am pleased to see this victory achieved and remain committed to delivering more results for Texans and all Americans in the 119th Congress." ###
