The abortion pill is extremely dangerous to womenICYMI: Smith slams Biden FDA’s mail-order abortion drug policy, urges Supreme Court to reinstate in-person dispensing requirement for mifepristone

Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), Co-Chair of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, recently sat down with Ryan Schmelz of LiveNOW From Fox to expose the dangerous and underreported complications of the chemical abortion pill mifepristone and urge the Supreme Court to reverse the Biden Administration’s dangerous mail-order abortion drug policy. “What was largely unknown is that [mifepristone] is very dangerous to women as well. The most recent study that was done found that one out of every eleven women has serious, serious adverse events that happen to them within about 45 days after taking the pill, including sepsis requiring hospitalization, as well as very severe hemorrhaging that could lead to death,” said Smith. “Louisiana, Texas, Florida, all these wonderful state legislators and governors, who have protected the lives of their unborn children, are having those laws undermined and usurped by an abortion industry that couldn’t care less about either the baby or the mother,” Smith continued. “The cover-up of the abortion pill, mifepristone, has to end, and it has to end now. And the data is right there to do so. At a minimum, the mail-order ‘big business’ has to end.” Smith’s Sunday morning interview on LiveNOW From Fox can be viewed here . ###
