$1 Million in Disaster Recovery Dislocated Worker Grants

$1 Million in Disaster Recovery Dislocated Worker Grants The U.S. Department of Labor has awarded $1 million in Disaster Recovery National Dislocated Worker Grant funding to support residents of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands impacted by Super Typhoon Sinlaku. The funding will help create temporary disaster-relief jobs focused on cleanup and recovery efforts across Rota, Saipan, and Tinian, while also providing employment and training services for eligible residents.
