Scott Joins Congressional Hearing on Gas Prices

Eager to provide long-term relief for Georgians facing rising gas prices, Congressman David Scott will participate in the House Agriculture Committee's special hearing, "Review of the Futures Market and Gasoline Prices." At a time when America has diminishing oil resources and gas prices are skyrocketing, oil companies continue to rake in record profits. Congressman Scott has called for the Federal Trade Commission to investigate oil companies for price goughing and for the President to suspend deliveries to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
