Wittman Announces Winner of Virginia's First District’s 2026 Congressional Art Competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) announced Isabel Chung, a student from Glen Allen, as the winner of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for Virginia’s First District. The winning art piece of Congressman Wittman’s 2026 Congressional Art Competition is titled “A New Beginning at Norfolk” by Isabel Chung of Glen Allen. "The Congressional Art Competition is a way to display the artistic talents of students across the nation,” said Rep. Wittman. “I am delighted to announce that this year’s winner for Virginia’s First District is Isabel Chung, whose artwork titled “A New Beginning at Norfolk” is exceptional. I look forward to congratulating her in person and seeing her painting displayed in the U.S. Capitol.” In addition to having her artwork showcased in the U.S. Capitol alongside winning pieces from across the country, Congressman Wittman looks forward to congratulating her in-person and celebrating her achievement.
