Mr. HEINRICH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title I, insert the following: SEC. 1__. APPROPRIATION TO REUNITE VETERANS AND SEPARATED FAMILY MEMBERS, INCLUDING MINOR CHILDREN. (a) In General.--In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for fiscal year 2026, out of amounts in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $400,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2029, to reunite veterans and separated family members, including minor children. (b) Reduction in Funds.--Notwithstanding section 102, the amount appropriated under that section shall be $7,050,000,000. ______
