Combatting Hunger & Food Insecurity Combatting Hunger & Food Insecurity Image or Video Image admin Wed, 07/12/2023 - 17:20 Summary Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi joined San Francisco-Marin Food Bank Vice Chair Johnathan Walker, Executive Director Tanis Crosby and the rest of the Staff and Board at the ribbon cutting of their new warehouse expansion, which will allow the Food Bank to distribute 75 million pounds annually from its two primary facilities, serving up to 200,000 people per week. Pelosi celebrated the important work that SFMFB does in distributing food throughout the city and highlighted the recent $1 million dollars in federal Community Project Funding she secured for the Food Bank’s new 5,200 square foot walk in cooler.
