RECOGNIZING MASON LEE

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 97 (Tuesday, June 9, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 97 (Tuesday, June 9, 2026)] [House] [Page H4003] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] RECOGNIZING MASON LEE (Mr. LATIMER asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.) Mr. LATIMER. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Mason Lee, a young violinist from Tarrytown, New York, who was recently selected for one of Carnegie Hall's national youth ensembles. Since the start of this program in 2013, the national youth ensemble has encouraged artistic development and cultural exchange for musicians ages 14 to 19. Alongside his fellow members of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States, Mason will spend 2 weeks in New York before traveling to Europe to perform at some of the world's greatest musical venues. As there were only six violinists chosen for the National Youth Orchestra, this opportunity is reserved for the most accomplished young musicians. From the floor of the House of Representatives, I congratulate Mason for this exemplary achievement. ____________________
