Mr. VAN HOLLEN (for himself, Ms. Alsobrooks, and Mr. Kaine) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 1968, making further continuing appropriations and other extensions for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in division A, insert the following: SEC. ___. LIMITATION ON USE OF AMOUNTS FOR DOGE. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, appropriations and funds made available and authority granted pursuant to this Act may not be used by-- (1) the United States DOGE Service, or any successor agency; (2) the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization, or any successor agency; or (3) a detailee of an agency described in paragraph (1) or (2) working at any other agency. ____________________
