Ms. HASSAN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. EXEMPTION FROM BALANCE-OF-PAYMENTS DUTIES FOR IMPORTS OF BANANAS. No duty imposed under section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2132) shall apply with respect to imports of bananas. ______
