Internships

Internships Image admin Fri, 01/03/2025 - 18:02 Interning in a congressional office is an opportunity to learn how public service and the legislative process work firsthand while serving the people of Colorado’s Third District. Interns in my office assist with day-to-day operations, constituent services, legislative research, communications, and district outreach. Interns may attend hearings, briefings, meetings, and events while gaining exposure to the issues shaping Western and Southern Colorado. I am looking for students who are hungry, humble, and smart: people who are willing to work hard, take initiative, and contribute positively to the office and the communities we serve. Strong writing skills, professionalism, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to service matter far more than political experience. Students from all backgrounds and areas of Colorado’s Third District are encouraged to apply. Internships are available in both my Washington, D.C. and district offices throughout the year. How to Apply Please complete and submit the form below to apply for an internship in one of our offices. Ensure that you have your cover letter and resume ready to upload at the end of this form.
