Mr. HICKENLOOPER (for himself and Mr. Bennet) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. PROHIBITION ON DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS TO INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED OF CERTAIN CRIMES. No funds made available under this Act, and no other Federal funds, may be used to make any payment to an individual in connection with a prosecution that resulted in the individual being convicted of a crime related to any of the following: (1) Interference in a State or Federal election. (2) Impersonation. (3) Identity theft. (4) Official misconduct. (5) Violation of duty in elections. (6) Failure to comply with the requirements of a Secretary of State. ______
