Mr. BOOKER submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 5453 proposed by Mr. Graham to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33.; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following: SEC. __. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS TO PURCHASE OR RENOVATE WAREHOUSES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETAINING NON- CITIZENS. No funds appropriated or authorized under section 202 shall be used to purchase, renovate, or enter into any contracts to purchase or renovate warehouses for the purpose of detaining non-citizens. ______
