Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize and commend Asia Scott, a senior at Charleston High School in Tallahatchie County, for being named a finalist for the prestigious Mentor Memphis Grizzlies 2026 Mentee of the Year. This distinguished honor celebrates outstanding young leaders participating in mentoring programs across Mississippi and Tennessee. [[Page E460]] The Mentee of the Year recognition highlights students who exemplify excellence through academic achievement, active engagement in mentoring organizations, meaningful community service, and participation in mentorship-related initiatives. Asia Scott's dedication, leadership, and positive influence within her community distinguish her as an exceptional nominee worthy of this recognition. A proud member of Exquisite Pearls of Excellence, Asia continues to embody the organization's mission of empowerment, service, and excellence. Through her involvement, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to personal growth while uplifting and inspiring those around her.
