Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, morning business be closed, and the Senate proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the Lane nomination; further, that at 11:15 a.m., the Senate execute the order in relation to the Lane nomination; that following the disposition of the cloture motion with respect to the Kuhlman nomination, the Senate recess for the weekly conference meetings until 2:15 p.m.; and that if cloture is invoked on the Kuhlman nomination, the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination at 2:15 p.m. The PRESIDING OFFICER.
