RECOGNIZING SIGMA NU FRATERNITY AT ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 83 (Friday, May 15, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 83 (Friday, May 15, 2026)] [House] [Page H3542] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] RECOGNIZING SIGMA NU FRATERNITY AT ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY (Mr. BIGGS of Arizona asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.) Mr. BIGGS of Arizona. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the outstanding young men of Sigma Nu Fraternity at Arizona State University. I had the pleasure of spending time with this group last month and am encouraged by their honorable character, discipline in the classroom, and desire to do good. ASU Sigma Nus have a rich understanding of our Constitution and recognize the importance of civic engagement. They also desire to make a meaningful difference to those around them, routinely partnering with organizations like Childhelp and the Food Recovery Network to fight food waste and hunger. Sigma Nus are also leaders who serve in ASU's student government and in a variety of campus clubs. When young men surround themselves with peers who challenge them to grow and live with integrity, they are better prepared to serve their families, communities, and the Nation. The men I met at Sigma Nu were thoughtful, driven, and deeply committed to serving others. I have no doubt they will continue to make a just and positive impact on their campus, throughout Arizona, and across our country. Mr. Speaker, I thank them for their leadership, their example, and their commitment to these timeless values. ____________________
