Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 153 (Monday, September 28, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 153 (Monday, September 28, 2026)] [Senate] [Page S5064] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] PROTECT COLLEGE SPORTS ACT OF 2026 Mr. MORAN. Mr. President, I am pleased to be here on the floor tonight to see this legislation pass. I appreciate the remarks of the Senator from Washington Senator Cantwell. I appreciate her and Senator Cruz, the ranking member and the chairman of the Commerce Committee, of which I am a member. At one point in time, I chaired the subcommittee that engaged in amateur athletics. A long time ago, we started down this path, and it is nice to see a resolution of this issue, and I thank all of those involved. ____________________
