CELEBRATING BRITTA CURL-SALEMME

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 48 (Tuesday, March 17, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 48 (Tuesday, March 17, 2026)] [House] [Page H2549] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] CELEBRATING BRITTA CURL-SALEMME (Mrs. FEDORCHAK asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend her remarks.) Mrs. FEDORCHAK. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to congratulate a proud North Dakotan, Britta Curl-Salemme, and the entire USA women's hockey team on their thrilling overtime victory against our neighbors to the north. North Dakotans know Britta well. She represents the very best of our State: hard work, grit, and team spirit. From the rinks of North Dakota to the world stage, she has carried those values with pride. Britta's dedication and leadership helped deliver a gold medal moment our country is still celebrating. I recognize the people who helped make this moment possible: her parents, Bill and Gretchen, and her siblings who have supported her every step of the way. North Dakota could not be more proud of Britta. We know she is gold through and through. ____________________
