Pursuant to House Resolution 1423 and rule XVIII, the Chair declares the House in the Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union for the further consideration of the bill, H.R. 8595. Will the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Bost) kindly take the chair. {time} 1600 In the Committee of the Whole Accordingly, the House resolved itself into the Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union for the further consideration of the bill (H.R. 8595) making appropriations for national security, Department of State, and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2027, and for other purposes, with Mr. Bost (Acting Chair) in the chair. The Clerk read the title of the bill. The Acting CHAIR. When the Committee of the Whole rose earlier today, amendment No. 28, printed in part A of House Report 119-749, offered by the gentlewoman from New York (Ms. Tenney) had been disposed of. Pursuant to clause 6 of rule XVIII, proceedings will now resume on those amendments printed in part A of House Report 119-749 on which further proceedings were postponed, in the following order: Amendment No. 1 by Ms. Boebert of Colorado. Amendment No. 6 by Mr. Fine of Florida. Amendment No. 8 by Mr. Massie of Kentucky. Amendment No. 9 by Mr. Massie of Kentucky. Amendment No. 20 by Mr. Roy of Texas.
