BETH VAN DUYNE of texas in the house of representatives Tuesday, October 13, 2026 Ms. VAN DUYNE. Mr. Speaker, I rise to recognize our Texas-24 Home Heroes, the volunteers at Feed My Starving Children, an organization working to combat childhood hunger by providing nutritious meals to children across over 70 countries. The only permanent site in the Lone Star State is right here in North Texas and is one of just eight nationwide. With the help of dedicated volunteers and supporters, meals are hand- packed and distributed to children across the world. Each box contains 216 meals, allowing every volunteer shift to make a meaningful impact. On North Texas Giving Day, the organization raised funds to provide over 400,000 meals, which is enough to feed 1,107 kids a daily meal for a full year. I thank the staff, volunteers, and supporters who are fighting to end childhood hunger and making a difference right here in North Texas. ____________________
